Like most of us, you may have missed the invitation to our party.
The harsh reality is that public schools in our country have not been celebrating.
Nine out of 10 students in America attend public schools. Public Schools Week is supposed to be a national celebration to highlight all of the wonderful things happening in our nation’s public schools, as well as bring attention to the critical issues facing our schools, students, and educators.
Betsy DeVos, our current Secretary of Education, has continually rained on our public schools’ parade.
